Our Hair Refresher Service begins with a personalized consultation by our skilled stylists. They will carefully assess the condition of your hair, taking into consideration factors such as texture, length, and any specific concerns you may have.
Revitalizing Treatment
Once we've identified your hair's specific requirements, we move on to the revitalizing treatment phase. This step involves a combination of cleansing, conditioning, and rejuvenating techniques designed to breathe new life into your locks.
Styling and Finishing
After the revitalizing treatment, your hair will look and feel refreshed and renewed. To complete your Hair Refresher experience, our stylists will provide expert styling and finishing touches.

Let us introduce ourselves; ONYX Salon and Extension Bar. We offer a wide array of hair and beauty services. Six talented and knowledgeable ladies are on our team, serving the greater Saline / Ann Arbor area with expertise in all hair services.
Our owner, and experienced stylist, Kayla Cable, has served clients well over 17 years. She has built her business on quality of service, as well as connection. Kayla is not only one of the most experienced stylists, but she also runs a successful salon.
Cara Gerstler is another talented stylist of ours. Cara is always up on the latest hair trends and she feels the most rewarding part of her role in this industry is making people look and feel good about themselves. You can always count on Cara to serve her clients with exceptional style every time.
Chelsea Paterson moved back home here in Michigan from Miami where she worked in salon both behind the chair and in management. Chelsea is a perfect addition to our team, she specializes in haircuts and color, balayage and is currently accepting new clients.
Chelsea Tibai is our newest addition but has been servicing The Ann Arbor area for years. She loves blonding services and is also accepting new clients.
Kellee Ihrig is our in house injector. She is an RN, has her BSN and is a certified Aesthetic Injector. Kellee has been with us since 2022. She offers Botox and filler with a number of other services to keep you looking your very best.

Kayla has been serving the Saline / Ann Arbor area for over 21 years, building lasting relationships with clients who trust her to bring out their best look. She specializes in Extensions, customization color, and precision cutting, combining her technical skill with a creative eye for detail. With advanced training and certifications in multiple color systems, Kayla loves using her knowledge to design customized styles that reflect each client’s unique vision. Beyond her craft, she is passionate about creating a relaxed, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. For Kayla, it’s not just about great hair — it’s about helping you feel your most beautiful, inside and out.

Chelsea Paterson Hair Stylist
Chelsea started her career in this industry 8 years ago by traveling the country training and working for hair shows before she started marketing for a beauty company in Miami, Florida.
When she started her family, her and her husband moved to Ormond Beach, Florida where she managed a salon and worked behind the chair before she made her journey back to her roots here in Michigan.
She has learned hands on techniques from many Master Stylists and Colorists throughout the years.
At home she keeps busy with her two young boys, but in the salon she is busy building her clientele who enjoy her for her creative mind and dedication to creating a fun atmosphere behind the chair.

Danielle Marie Hair Stylist
Danielle is an established hairstylist with 20 years experience. Her focus is to stay current on trends and new techniques all the while continuing to perfect her craft. What really matters most to Danielle is giving her clients an experience they want to keep coming back for. She is known for her attention to detail, her outstanding shampoos and making her clients feel at ease in her chair.
Danielle specializes in highlights, AirTouch balayages, all over color, formal styles, and haircuts.

CARA GERSTLER Hair Stylist
Cara has been behind the chair for about 11 years and absolutely loves it. The two things that Cara considers the most rewarding about her role in the industry are making people look and feel good about themselves. She loves learning all the latest trends and using her creativity. Cara provides almost all hair services also offers extensions. CHELSEA TIBAI Hair Stylist
Hi, I'm Chelsea! I've been a hairstylist in the Ann Arbor area for 12 years. I specialize in blonding/color services, cutting and keratin treatments. I've worked with many different color systems and have continued my education to learn the newest trends.
I think it's important to always learn new techniques in this industry to keep things fresh and exciting for my clients

My name is Kellee Ihrig creator and owner of Radiating Aesthetics/mobile nurse injector I am a Registered Nurse of 10 years with my Bachelors in Science of Nursing, as well as a certified Aesthetic Nurse Injector. I have a very wide range of knowledge in Nursing serving as an ACLS instructor, being apart of the Rapid Response team and specializing in surgical, cardiac, and medical intensive care units.
